Core Bits

Core Bits are Diamond tipped tools for making holes in Asphalt, Concrete, Block Stone, Shotcrete, and any other materials. They need to be made differently for each aggregate or material being cored for optimal performance and life. Specifically, the segment needs to be different for each aggregate.

Our high-quality coring bits are available in 1/2″ to 60″ in diameter that can be used over a wide range of applications including: Concrete, Asphalt, Hard Materials, Brick, Block, and Stone just to name a few. Our wet core bits come with a standard 15″ or 18” barrel and 1-1/4-7 threaded arbors on all bits over 1″ in diameter and 5/8-11 threaded arbors on bits 1″ and smaller.

We offer different types of core bits for every type of aggregate and every type of equipment. The segments, or diamond portion of the core bits come with different designs depending on what your job calls for. We offer more than 8 styles of diamond segments for wet bits and 3 for dry bits. Dry bits come with barrels that are 9” long. Additionally, we offer adapters to allow you to run our core bits on every type of core drill including Hilti. Straight Segments

Featured on our Blackcat and Smash core bits. When using straight segments, you get more life out of them. This is because Straight Segments are thicker than other segments. Straight segments do well in abrasives such as asphalt because abrasive materials like these are known to wear down segments rapidly.

Application: Concrete, Asphalt, Hard Material, Brick, Block, and Stone. Description: This Premium quality core bit combines fast drilling with long life on concrete, reinforced concrete, asphalt, and all masonry products. The Precision 14″ Barrels provide for vibration free use and long life. Bits under 1″ in diameter comes with 5/8″-11″ threads. All bits over 1″ come with 1 1/4″-7″ threads.

Segmented Turbo Segments

Featured on our Spider, Valkyrie, Wolv, and Venom. Turbo Segments are designed for faster coring through tougher materials because of its thinner makeup and turbo design. The design allows for more water and better slurry extraction. Slurry is a mixture of water and pieces of material mess generated when coring.

We also feature special “W” segments for coring through tough materials that are reinforced with rebar. Our Punisher and Dozer core bits have these special segments.

Patterned Diamond Segments

Application: Concrete, Asphalt, Hard Material, Brick, Block, and Stone. Description: These core bits are designed to outperform standard core bits with patterned diamond technology. With standard diamond segments the diamonds fall in random locations leaving some areas of the segment crowded with diamond and other areas with fewer diamonds. With this supreme pattern diamond each and every diamond is placed exactly where optimum performance can be achieved. This strategic placement ensures that every diamond’s full potential is reached.

Dry Core Bits

Application: Concrete, Brick, Block, Asphalt, and Shotcrete.

Description: Dry core Bits Dry core bits feature high quality diamonds that are made to be run dry. Their segments require high quality diamond and bonding metals in order to perform without water.
